I'd post it there directly, but I don't have a Journelfen code, and no real motivation to get one. Usually I just cruise by when I'm bored and shake my head at the wankerness of people. And I don't just mean those being fandom_wanked, either. ;)

The number one thing holding back decent debate is that generally no debater is open to changes of opinion. We all just think we're going to convince the other person. And if both parties are thinking like that, debate is just, well, a two-way wank-fest, right?

I'm always open to having my opinion changed. There's something kitsunekaboom was saying about piracy (I'm against it) and something one of his friends said has really opened my eyes. Not to the point of where I'm all pro-piracy, but to the point of where I can see that it's not completely the pirates' fault that creators are not getting paid.

(Also because pre-fab music sucks and is a leech upon society, even if it does give us sparkly boys and girls to ooh and ahh over.)
