Although I'm having to trawl around various memesters and check to see if I asked for questions or not. My inbox at work is going to be so damn full when I go back on Monday...

1) Who's turn is it to call?
Um, mine, I think. Since you rang on Monday.
2) How much, really, do you think fanfiction has changed your life? the way you think/react to things?
It's given me some excellent friends I wouldn't have had otherwise. It keeps me sane in the World's Most Boring Workplace. It's let me exercise my people skills, my debating skills, my creative skills (which were kind of atrophied). It makes me feel useful, when people need me to do the organisational thing, even though sometimes I get tired of being the Organisational Nazi. It's also given me perspective on myself - the way people see me, their advice... 'S all good.
Although yeah, sometimes that Pacific is a good thing too. ;)
3) Have you ever thought about going back to Japan?
Vaguely. Mum keeps turning up teaching jobs over there that don't need visas (or at least age-related visas), but it's somewhere I've already been, and I have this feeling of not having a lot of time and so wanting to see as much new stuff as I can. But yeah, maybe one day, if I can't get overseas any other way.
4) Choose. Thai, Turkish, Ethiopian, Malaysian, Italian or Indian. What's for dinner and why?
At the moment? None of the above, seeing how plain toast and steamed veggies are all I can manage... But normally, when I'm operating 100%, it would be Thai. It's spicy and yummy and doesn't leave me feeling bloated, and it's just good dammit.
5) Have you ever thought about taking up knitting?
I used to, right up until about eight years ago. Made BRM a lovely purple scarf. ;) But I don't tend to have the kind of patience for it.
