The other day, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] came by bearing DVDs, including Vampire Hunter D. And out of that came my new "angry" icon, the one to be used for rants, especially work-related ones. Isn't she clever? And isn't it nifty?

Flicking through the TV channels tonight, I hit the new series of Dawson's Creek, and was taken aback by [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s new career as Dawson's buddy Pacey. Seriously, the look, the banter, the whole thing, completely Dex...

And finally, my dilemma. I've been invited to a "Saints and Sinners" themed birthday party, but am having trouble thinking of a costume. So, it's open to you, my loyal LJ reading public. What do you think I should go as? ( this should help those who don't actually know what I look like. Hair's a bit longer, but not by much...)

Hmmm. Well, if you want to go as a sinner, I reccommend getting an old timey dress and an axe, and going as Lizzie Borden. Of course, everyone knows her as the famous murderess who was accused, but never convicted, of murdering Elsie and her husband Elmer.

The mammoth pic reminded me of a seriously whacko association in my mind...way back at the San Diego Comics Cons of my youth, there were a lot of dealers in old pulp magazines (well, a few, anyway), and there was this one detective pulp that caught my eye. It was a thicker-than-usual book, and it was called MAMMOTH DETECTIVE.

Of course, I could immediately see in my mind's eye this wooly elephant with a trenchcoat, fedora, and gun, just looking for trouble down those mean glaciers where a mammoth must go...

And yeah, I can believe you have less hair than in the picture now. But...er...did you do something about the tusks? ;-)

(Feet, don't fail me now!!!)
