I soaked my hands in warm water and tea tree oil, to dry up the oozing and to avoid getting my blister holes infected, and man did it sting. Still, they look slightly less like minced raw chicken. And you can bet I'm as sure as hell going to remember to tape my hands next time I do escrima.

*giggles* One of my co-workers was worrying about the slight discolouration a dark nail polish has left on her nails in terms of the job interview tomorrow, and then I showed her What Lurked Beneath the bandaids. She decided the nails weren't an issue.

I'm glad I have court tomorrow - the office is going to be insane with nervous people making each other even more nervous. I just have to remember to leave court in time to get to my own interview time and make sure I remember to wear pants... *grins* Just joking about that last one, folks.

ive never done any of the indonesian arts. got a great scar from butterfly swords tho ;) think escrima but with two machetes instead of rattan sticks...

Yeah, brickie hands are pretty much what I have right now. Still, they're healing up reasonably well. :)

I've never seen anyone using the butterfly swords before - sounds awesome. :)
