Because I'm all prepared for court and I'm trying to avoid having to phone the last hold-out councils that haven't contacted me yet.

Taken from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], by way of [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]

1. Your name spelled backwards.

drawoH eeL ennaoJ. or issoR, if you prefer. ;)

2. Where were your parents born?

Both in Melbourne, I think. Dad in Footscray, Mum possibly in Glenroy, I don't quite remember.

3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer?

The Return of the King trailer. Along with much squeeing.

4. What's your favorite restaurant?

At the moment, I'll say The Soul Train, because it has wonderful food, cheap cocktails, and don't mind me sitting there all afternoon with my laptop plugged into one of their power points and nursing a couple of beers.

5. Last time you swam in a pool?

When I was staying with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] in December/January. Although it was more a lane than a pool. ;)

6. Have you ever been in a school play?

I played Julius Ceaser's widow in a Year Ten performance of Rinse The Blood Off My Toga.

7. How many kids do you want?

Next question.

8. Type of music you dislike most?

Old style whiny country music.

9. Are you registered to vote?

Yes.

10. Do you have cable?

No, what would I want with a very large time lost mutant... okay, enough of the comic jokes. No, I don't. Can't afford it.

11. Have you ever ridden on a moped?

I used to ride my grandmother's one she used to deliver mail on when I was a kid until my brother killed it.

12. Ever prank call anybody?

No, although I have participated in pizza-guy related pranks. Mainly weird stuff happening in the background when he shows up, usually bondage related. ;)

13. Ever get a parking ticket?

The only ticket of any kind I've ever gotten is a fine for travelling on the tram on a concession ticket without a concession card.

14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?

Sure.

16. Do you have a garden?

Not right now - next place I get is going to have at least a space for some pots. I miss my herbs.

17. What's your favorite comic strip?

Ozy and Millie, online.

18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?

All of the first verse, and most of the second. And that's saying something, considering "Advance Australia Fair" is so dull and boring.

19. Bath or Shower, morning or night?

Shower, in the morning; bath at night if I've had a stressful day and need to unwind.

20. Best movie you've seen in the past month?

Pirates of the Carribean - I've been horribly low-brow in my film viewing lately. ;)

21. Favorite pizza topping?

Caramelised onion, potato and rosemary with tomato sauce and cheese.

22. Chips or popcorn?

Ack, dilemma. Popcorn, 'cause it's less bad for me.

23. What color lipstick do you usually wear?

There's no "usual" about it - I have this dark pink coloured one I use for special stuff.

24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells?

Not peanut shells - bark, grass (the ordinary kind), twigs and bits of cane, yes. My brother and I were shocking for smoking stuff when we were kids.

25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?

Nope.

26. Orange Juice or apple?

Apple. Preferably with some blackcurrant or cranberry in it.

27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine?

Bounce and Yasmin, last night, at Singh's, the Indian place around the corner from my house.

28. Favorite type of chocolate bar?

Twix - but only once in a blue moon. Not big on chocolate.

29. When was the last time you voted at the polls?

Um, in Wodonga, a couple of years ago - last Federal election.

30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?

Last year in Wodonga also - grew my own.

31. Have you ever won a trophy?

Four for karate kata competition, one for squash when I was in high school, a couple of book prizes for English in school... I used to put the karate ones on the windowsill to scare would-be burglars. ;)

32. Are you a good cook?

Competent. Some stuff I do really well, some stuff is kind of average. But I don't starve or live off fast food. I'm good at adapting things to what ingredients I have.

33. Do you know how to pump your own gas?

Kinda. I don't drive often enough to be practiced at it, and they don't teach you that part when you take driving lessons.

34. Ever order an article from an infomercial?

Nope.

35. Sprite or 7-up?

Sprite, although we have a few other brands of the same stuff. We call it lemonade.

36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? how about school?

School uniform in both primary and secondary school (13 years' worth, including the year in Japan which was all about the uniforms, for everything). Also for six years when I was waitressing to put myself through university, and boy was I glad when they switched from the baggy nylon dress to white collared t-shirt and black pants! My current job has a fairly stringent dress code. And I wear a uniform to karate. ;)

37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy?

B12, Evening Primrose Oil, eyedrops and some echinacea cold prevention lozenges.

38. Ever throw up in public?

Only when travel sick. I don't do drunken throwing up, except in private.

39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love?

Millionaire. I find true love highly over-rated.

40. Do you believe in love at first sight?

I believe in lust at first sight, or interest at first sight. You can't really love someone unless you know them.

41. Ever call a 1-900 number?

The movie info line, I think...

42. Can ex's be friends?

As long as they haven't inflicted too much damage on each other during the course of the relationship.

43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital?

My grandmother, last Christmas, after her knee operation.

44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby?

Nope.

45. What did you eat today?

Brekkie was a bowl of Soy Crunch cereal, a glass of juice and a cup of tea. I've also had an apple as a snack, and am contemplating a cup-a-soup for lunch.

46. What's your all time favorite Saturday Night Live Character?

Don't watch it, wouldn't know. No cable, and it's on too bloody late on free-to-air.

47. What was the name of your first pet?

Tinkerbell the Australian terrier. I think she came pre-named.

48. What is in your purse?

In the bag I have with me today I have my work diary, a notebook and pen, my wallet, my keys, eyedrops (the computers give me trouble with the contact lenses, as do smoky pubs), a pair of jeans and a blanket (I'm going to see My Friend The Chocolate Cake with Yasmin and Bounce tonight, and if it's on the grass, a blanket will be needed).

49. Favorite thing to do before bedtime?

None of your business. ;)

50. What is one thing you are grateful for today?

That I had the nerve to call Michael, the guy I met on Friday night and didn't wuss out. I have a tendency to avoid disappointment by not trying in the first place, lately. Also that I already had a job application written for the last promotion they offered at PERIN, and I didn't have to write another one (emailed that off today).

And it's been the most wonderfully warm and sunny day today and I'm going to see MFTCC tonight. :) Lots to be grateful for.

18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?

All of the first verse, and most of the second. And that's saying something, considering "Advance Australia Fair" is so dull and boring.

What's so difficult about "Australia, Australia, Australia, we love you, amen."?
