Can I just point out...

That men suck? John was supposed to call me this week, and so far no luck. After I expressly told him to call me if he wanted to get together. Ditto for Michael. Bastards.
I dunno, you try and be honest an upfront and not all conniving and sneaky (as I'm told women are supposed to be), and you still get shot down. I'm not sure what's worse - not dating at all, or having one date and the bastard deciding you're not worth it. :P
Still, I did have a good night with Phil at the Portland last night. We even managed to get "work" done, going through the list of hostels I had and eliminating the definite Evil ones and those too far away (I like how Citysearch insists South Yarra and Windsor are "inner city" when they're harder to get to than St Kilda!). I am, however, feeling rather seedy - moreso than the amount of beer warranted. I'm going to blame the bad sushi I was overcharged and ripped off on - the woman who sold it to me gave me change for a ten, when I'd given her a twenty. I'm thinking of going back today and asking for my ten bucks.
Morning tea (as put on by Jo G and myself) was a success. Food has been consumed at a rapid pace, and there were no loud complaints, although my haphazard "I'm feeling too crappy to bother with being fussy" presentation drew some face pulling from Poppy, who seems to want to be the Aussie/Greek Martha Stewart when she grows up. And I'm off the hook for a whole month - I'd swapped with Deb today since she covered the one I'd missed back in July when I had the stomach bug.
Hmm, I suppose work would be an idea. Better go find some.
