Why, yes, it _is_ another meme!
Oct. 30th, 2003 11:41 amBut hey, it's a meme that gets people to exercise their critical faculties. So it's all good. :) Besides, it's a way to catch up on all that feedback you owe me. *grins*
Gacked from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], among others.
What kind of work is my name associated with? What kind of assumptions do you make about a piece of writing, fiction or non, if you see my name on it?
Nota bene: This is emphatically NOT an attempt to fish for compliments. I'm not trying to get judgements on the quality of my work, but rather about its other characteristics.
For example, if you were given the name of an actor, that might make you think of a certain genre of film he or she is often in or a type of character.
What is Rossi-brand writing?
And please remember, I have written stories that don't feature a certain chain-smoking English magician. ;)

Hmm... *pauses to consider*
Date: 2003-10-30 08:48 am (UTC)What strikes me about your writing is that it's usually very clean in style. I don't have to worry too much about spelling and grammar or sentence construction while I'm reading the story. It's not perfect, sure, but it doesn't pull me out so that I lose the flow of the story because I'm trying to understand what you meant or should have done.
Other than that, yes, very gory bits... but very real characters. Not the typical type. I actually think that you should write some urban fantasy, given your Collective Mutant stuff.
