Luckily for me, there was a quickie doctor's appointment at 6.20 this afternoon. Lucky, considering the clinic is closed for Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow and I really needed that certificate. And it was quite funny, really. I walked in there, pretty much said all I needed was a certificate since I had the flu, and the doctor agreed with me, saying that yes, there wasn't much she could actually do, especially since anti-biotics weren't needed (no actual infection, so no need). Fastest damn appointment I've ever had, I think. I'm to call if I need another one on Wednesday and arrange to pick it up on Thursday, since Dr Wall isn't going to be there until then.

I think I've OD'd on Angel. I've watched most of Season 2 the last couple of days, and I have to admit, it's growing on me. Seeing Angel trying to make good after the whole firing incident... it gives his character a new vulnerability. It's good to see the vampire with a soul does something else other than tortured and homicidal.

Sleep now, I think. It's late-ish, but I slept so much today my body clock's a bit wierd.
