I'm probably driving Peta (the girl on the other side of my cubicle) nuts today with my babbling, but hey, I'm in a good mood and processing these applications always tends to bring out my sense of the absurd.
To whit:
Q: Are there any exceptional circumstances you would like to be considered?
A: Drop in business performance: extra expenses: & Stupidity.
*snickers* Ah, at least they're admitting it these days. And like I said to Peta, it would be nice if Stupidity was an exceptional circumstance in my job, but unfortunately it's the norm.
Oh, and I had one earlier that said something along the lines of: "I hope my instalment offer doesn't insult you. Thank you.
Insult? I'm never insulted by these things. Well, except when I am, which usually involves the applicant deliberately calling us names and such on their application - and how is that supposed to make me more sympathetic to their situation? - but as far as instalment offers go, I'm more amused than insulted.
