It's 11.30, it's Friday and guess what? I'm bored.

It's a pretty sure sign I need to a) get the hell out of PERIN and b) have a holiday, when I'm already bored out of my skull after a few hours here. Good thing I get b) at least. Well, after I get my tickets. *sighs* I need one more pay, so that's been delayed until next Wednesday afternoon, at the soonest. Probably Thursday lunchtime, since it'll take a day for the money to be transferred onto my credit card. Might as well get the points for it, after all.

My folks are visiting this weekend, which is a good thing. They're catching the train down from Wodonga, arriving at 3.50pm and coming by my work to drop off their stuff with me. Then they shall entertain themselves for the hour I'll still be working, and then they come home with me and we're going to the Thai place for dinner. Thai, yum.

Saturday is football - we're introducing [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] to the legalised assault that is Aussie Rules football. *snickers* Should be fun.

And... that's about it. Nothing more to say. My life is so boring lately.

Better. Scabby, and just a little low-grade ache, but no major swelling, and I seem to have missed the worst of black eye-land. *knocks wood* Now I just have to keep my hands away from it and let it heal rather than play with the weird-feeling scab material. :)

Whoot! Go you! That's great news. :) I'm hoping to take up Tai Chi when I get back from Canada in September, mainly because I've hit boredom level with karate and need something different to challenge me - all I do at training (when I go) is teach beginners, and I'm not learning anything new at all. :P
