Trisha is currently snoozing on the couch, Dex is off having the fitness appointment that goes with his shiny new gym membership, JB should be on her way back from the vet's, and Mel is on a plane coming from Baltimore. Fun and games all round.

My laundry is done, my bags are packed, my outfit for this wedding I'm going to with Trisha tomorrow is laid out, and I realised today I have exactly ten days left in Canada. :( Still, all things must end, and I've had a good _relaxing_ time. Not a lot done in the way of touristy-ness, mainly because of the money situation, but I've hung around with friends and caught up on my reading and watched movies and listened to some great band music, and discovered that people generally think I'm Nifty. It's all good.

Lise, got your email via Dex - I'm good to wait as long as need be - I have to wait for luggage any way, so I won't be out until at least half an hour after I land. See you on Thursday, babe. :)

Hey, Melbournites? What's the weather like down there? I'm hoping I can continue this t-shirt wearing habit I've developed. ;)

okay, cool. i'm hoping my worry over rush hour is exaggerated - then again, you've been in vancouver rush hour, right?

ps: iff'n you want to do some touristy things while you're here, I totally want to go to Victoria to see the Egypt exhibit that's here all the way from the british museum. but, uh, I can do that after you go, too. ;D

It was lovely and warm for a couple of weeks but it's gone back to 'slightly warmer than winter' with RAIN at night. *grins* It must have warmed up because I'm back to using only two doonas at night, sometimes only one. :)

It should (hopefully) have warmed up a little more by the time you get back.

Also. Would it be possible to give you a call at some stage? I have credit on my phone card that's going to expire Very Soon and I want my last three dollars worth of value out of it. :)

Hahahaha

T-shirts? In Melbourne? You'd have to be pretty masochistic.

It is warming up a trifle, but nowhere near T-shirt weather for me. Then again, I must be crazy - I'm heading to Tassie tomorrow.

Weird to think you've been over in Canada for almost two months already... Still, best to leave a place wanting to go back, and it sounds like you've enjoyed the break over there.

(Although, c'mon. Admit it. You miss Melbourne... ;))

The weather is...well, Melbourne, really. One day it's shorts-and-t-shirt and thinking about heading into the sea for a dip, the next day it's thick jacket and turning the heater full on.

Enjoy the wedding (free booze!) and say Hi to people for me.

Cheers

Phil

She had red wine at the wedding. My dad was crafty and made deals with the people at the other tables for their bottles of red.
