Just in case you were curious...
Feb. 17th, 2005 09:08 pmThis review of Constantine seems to sum up the very little I've seen and the much I've heard about the movie. In space they may not be able to hear you scream, but in a crowded movie theatre there's no escape. It'll be a cold day in hell before I even consider seeing this thing - it sounds like not just a bloody awful adaptation of one of the more complex characters in comics, but just a bad movie over all.

Date: 2005-02-17 02:01 pm (UTC)I'll see what David and Margaret have to see about it as a movie (since I doubt either is a Hellblazer fan), but I'm really doubtful I'll waste the money on this piece of dreck.
Mind you, I haven't seen The Hulk, Daredevil, Troy, Electra or Van Helsing either. Guess that makes me a movie wanker.
I am thinking of catching The House Of Flying Daggers tonight at the George if it's playing at a reasonable time after work, tho'. That one looks much better - lots of shiny action without the wank associated with Keanu trying to pretend he's making something out there and meaningful (there's an interview with him that says as much, don't have it on me right now).
