Last post until I can get access to a computer again, which may be a while. :)

Mel called tonight, and we Talked. Not just talked, but Talked. For several hours. I've still got the wide grin on my face. I'm so looking forward to seeing her again, even if it does involve the pair of us travelling across the globe to do it.

Busy day today, another tomorrow. The lists are large after the debarcle of last week, but at least Mr Martin isn't too bad in the dispensing of justice. *grins* Nothing outstanding today - several drink drivers, a couple of small-time dope dealers, a bloke who pinched a slab (that's twenty-four cans) of beer from a drive-through bottle shop. We've got a lot of Family Law cases (divorce-realted custody, access and property matters) tomorrow, pluse the Donehues. *sighs loudly* Honestly, I don't understand how two people who hate each other so much could have actually have been amrried. Or maybe that's why they hate each other so much. Mr is applying for an intervention order against Mrs - she already has one against him. Hopefully him getting his stuff out of her shed at last will have allowed things to calm down somewhat, but I don't hold out much hope.

Second-last episode of Buffy tonight. Which means BRM will have to tape the last ep for me next week. I've had to stick a note to the TV to remind him. A BIG note. With BIG purple letters. Of course, this means I'll be the last Buffy fan I know to see the final of season five, dammit! I'm bursting to find out what happens - I've been studiously avoiding spoilers as much as I can. So, Dexcon peoples, no telling me what happens, or I'll be forced to cover my ears and sing "Waltzing Matilda" at the top of my voice. ;)

Okay, that's it for me. I'm seeing Yasmin and Andraste on Thursday, which will be most Cool. And then Friday I head off to Toronto and get to annoy Dex for a week before Dexcon. Talk about Ficcerliciousness. ;)

Rossi, you're *not* the only one who didn't see the season finale. It played here at some point during Subcon in May, and I *still* haven't seen it - Lise's mum even taped it. I just haven't gotten around to seeing it yet.

So you're not alone. ;)
