Update on the life of Rossi...

Yeah, been a bit slack on the actual content again. Then again, things haven't been hugely exciting. Well, apart from the bomb threat at the Griffin the other night. *rolls eyes* Random crazy lady seeking attention. Word of advice? If you're going to say there's a bomb in some luggage, make sure it's not your own.

[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] got here about two weeks ago. We love the Lise. :) Mindy's also been a regular visitor, pretty much every day for the three weeks before Easter. Things are settling down again for her, which is good - relationship breakups, especially long-term relationships, are Teh Suck.

Work's been going okay - I got asked to do five days a week today, so no more Mondays off. Still, it's an extra day of money and that means paying off stuff faster. And getting the replacement laptop. They're also working on getting me access to the network via the laptop - at the moment I have no computer work at all, since I can't save anything except on the laptop itself and I have no printing capability. All of which sums up to me having no Internet access of any kind during the day.

Unless I get that new laptop and wireless and start having lunch at Second Cup. ;)

I just may die of papercuts, tho'. Last week's healed up in time for me to add another couple today. Bah.

Yesterday I went to the gym and got 15 months membership for $427, which was about a hundred bucks and three months more than I expected. I've been the last two days and man does it make a difference to my mood. I'm not half as depressed as I was getting. Although spring might have something to do with that, too - it's been wonderful weather the last week or so, getting up to 16 degrees today and predicting 18 tomorrow. So glad to finally get some sun and to not have to be the Michelin Woman when I'm outside.

(Well, apart from the winter poundage. Ugh. *pokes self*)

Otherwise... yeah, that's pretty much it. Johnny's down in Mississippi for the next couple of weeks, which means I have plenty of practice time on Tara. Just need to get my act together. *wry* But really, it's just Life As Normal here lately.

On the subject of papercuts, ever tried wearing latex gloves while doing the work? They're thin and handy. I use 'em whenever I have to file masses of articles (new manila folders cut so vicious!) or when I have to handle large amounts of newspaper (to avoid smudging). If you're allergic to latex, there are non-latex alternatives that do the trick as well.
