Vestibular tests and other fun things.

So, had my hearing and balance tests today. Took about an hour in all, the bulk of which was the balance.

Did you know that when you have a dizzy fit, your eyes move? You can't focus on anything, so your eyes start constantly tracking. And if you're spinning clockwise, it's because your eyes are tracking let to right, and vice versa for the other direction. I found this out because to test dizzy spells, they have electrodes that register eye movement stuck on your head. It's rather nifty.

Of course, now I'm exhausted and my head's still vaguely swimmy. I have another appointment with the ear specialist week after next (August 3rd) to find out the results.

In other news... I got the official invite to my brother's wedding in the mail today. *hees*

And Van Helsing truly is the worst movie in the world...

I love that icon. *grins* And no, not quite. I'd have to find some testicles for them to test, if that was the case. Maybe down the butchers? ;)
