At last, some details!

For the Aussie crowd and my folks, seeing how they've been very patient waiting for me to get my act together.

I will be leaving Toronto on October 21, 2006 at 18:10 (that's 6:10 pm) and arriving in Melbourne on October 23, 2006 at 07:55 (yep 7:55 am) on QF 94.

My parents have expressed a desire to come pick me up, but with the arrival time being so early, we might have to swing things. Dad, you got my email with the flight details, didn't you? Any way, there may be me in Melbourne for the day until the 5:10 pm train to Wodonga, depending on what we're able to sort out.

October 23-26: Wodonga. Quality time with the family and helping sort out wedding stuff.

October 27-30: Melbourne.A gathering of some sort, either Auscon or GASP or something. Any way, I'll be coming down to Melbourne for the long weekend and hoping to catch up with people.

November 4: Wedding.

November 10-13: Brisbane. Catching up with the Brisbanites who are, by all accounts too busy and broke to travel. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], you good with a refugee from Wodonga on your couch?

November 15: Return to Toronto. Leaving from Sydney, so there's a good chance I'll be hanging around in Sydney for a couple of days prior. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], you up for guestage?

Sounds good! If I'm really organised, I should be able to manage a more than just a couple of pub nights, too, since I've actually got about four assignments due the following monday. But yes, looking forward to the pub.

I'm oddly actually going to be in Melbourne during that time. And would probably feel pathetically grateful to anyone who can tell me how to get around Melbourne.

Maybe not a helpful comment now but keep in mind that we are getting good at picking up people at the Toronto airport, especially those flying internationally!

Like I said in e-mail. I'll be up for taking you in on the Sydney leg. Just give me a call when you get to Aussieland and let me know when you'll be arriving and I'll see about meeting you, or at least getting my Mum to pick you up from the train station.
