I used to have one. Hardly ever got sick, threw things off in a day or two when I did and hardly ever had to take time off work. Now?

*sighs*

Flu again. Or possibly the same one from a couple of weeks ago. Either way, not happy Jan.

Although, still on the upside? Vertigo gone. Well, mostly - I can push myself into an attack by not sleeping and drinking too much, but some might just call that drunkeness.

I'm usually pretty resiliant, but when I went to Ireland I was sick as a dog every few weeks. I think it has something to do with local immunities.

You too, huh? Just caught my throat virus again.

Let's invent an immune boost pill.

You ALSO just moved to a new country with a whole new variety of viruses &c to get used to - I have heard this is pretty common when you move to a new big city. :) I hope you get better though - and your immune system WILL catch up, eventually, given how crazily healthy you are, bike-rider-mountain-climbing woman.

They're right about getting the sickies from living in a new country and environment. The thing is, you can also get sick when you go back to your home country for visits, because you have to re-adapt to the germs and immunities over there, even though it's your home! It's happened to me and friends lots of times.

Yeah, I know, something to look forward to. (*wry*) Eventually you'll manage to find ways to stave them off, or at least know the triggers so you can have have it not as bad, but boy, is the whole thing a doozy.

Dude, I had bronchitis for 10 weeks straight thanks to the intense damp of London, England. I came home for winter break, and it cleared right the hell up.
