It's also Mum and Dad's anniversary, their... 35th, if I'm counting properly (I don't always).

In other news... I got the payrise - up to $18 an hour, starting yesterday. Go me. I also have been a very bad Rossi and haven't been contacting people as much as I should. As in, at all. Shame on me. If I haven't pinged you by AIM/email for a week or two, it's not because I hate you. I've just been settling back into things and dealing with the whole bouncing around between countries, climates and seasons thing. Plus, y'know, broke, so feeling like a bad friend. However, I get paid on Thursday and that one's all mine. No paying rent or bills or anything. Yay! *muppetflails* I can do my very small amount of Christmas shopping.
Once I find out from Mum what to get people. :P

From what they're saying, unless I've missed something in the last day or so, it doesn't look like the fires are going to move north, either. Which, all things considered, is a good thing.

And speaking of icons... I found a new website for Billie Piper last night. So. Very. Doomed. There's stacks of pics from all sorts of contexts, and they're great quality too. Looks like I'll be going on an icon-making spree when I have the time...
