Yay for drugs, that make me sleep. Not so yay the groggy feeling I get from taking drugs, but beggars can't be choosers. I didn't hear a thing last night, although the dreams were as wacked-out as usual and I started waking sometime around 5:30 am.

Work's already kicked off with Alvin dictating an urgent letter over the phone. This doesn't bode well.

*pokes at her* You know, Ben was right awhile ago when he posted about the whole 'calling things emo'. You're emotions are real, mate. Never appoligise for them or feel embarrassed afterwards either. I know we Australians are usually raised to be the stoic types and not really get emotional but sometimes we have to let that go.

Better that you say something when you're feeling off then turn it inward and make yourself sick.

Yeah, I know. But it always feels self-indulgent. Especially when it happens at the worst possible time (ie, everyone's busy/caught up in their own issues/dying of plague) and I'm not able to provide the support for them because I'm too busy flailing around feeling sorry for myself.
