Anyone order the undead?

Sometimes, over a few pints, Dex, Johnny and I discuss the pros and cons of zombie invasion. What we'd do, where we'd go, the reasons for it... Never thought we'd actually get to test it out.

Luckily things didn't get really out of control here until late afternoon, when I'd already gotten home from work. Although zombie attack does explain the homeless guy lunging for brains on the corner instead of change. I'm still trying to get Mindy and Johnny on the phone, no luck so far.

We're heading for our established safe base. Yes, we're barricading ourselves in the Griffin.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thought to follow the Shaun of the Dead plan.

It works - barricade the lower level, set ourselves up in the top and wait it out. Plenty of food and beer, access to the rest of Bloor Street via the roof, and as Johnny says, the body weight of the zombies will wear out their feet and ankles way before we need to move on. :)

The pros of zombie invasions!?! There are pros to being invaded by the living dead attempting to eat your brains?

I mean, yes, you get to barricade yourself in the pub, but I can manage that without having the dead rise again.

The buggers don't even have body warmth going for them. Though maybe I could set a few on fire and see how that goes with warming us up. That's a thought . . .
