Bad thing: The subway sucks. It took nearly an hour to get to work today, which means I'll have to stay later.

Good thing: My hair looks fantastic today. And has done for a week now.

Bad thing: The red has faded out. *pouts*

Good thing: It's Friday! And [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is crashing at our place tonight!

Bad thing: Still a bit nauseous. Stupid Fred.

Good thing: Death to the funk!

You can wash, just not shampoo? Er. That's what I did when I went red.

I was washing with just condtioner every second day after I did it, since the dye was a bit harsh?

But yeah, three days? *shudders* I've done that before when I've gone hiking, and there's much ick and cranky. Not washing my hair makes my face feel dirty, if that makes sense?

Mine too. We have the same kind of hair, it's very very fine. Maybe use just an eensy ammount of shampoo?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. And I should probably get the colour retention stuff as well. They need to make anti-frizz colour hold shampoo, I swear. That way I'll get everything I need!

but see, they want you spend lots ofmoney, and if they did that, then you wouldn't spend as much. I know there's some tricks to keep the color longer, but I just don't know them. Adding splenda to the dye is when you're bleaching and you don't want chemical burns.

Bastards. :P Ah well, I shall just dye every couple of months. It's at least a nice rich-looking brown right now, instead of the washed-out blonde-ish brown it was before. And the cut is still good and looks fantastic and the stylist taught me how to dry it properly so it doesn't look blah!

It makes total sense to me. I have to wash my hair every day otherwise I feel GROSS. I can manage to go one day without shaving if I'm lounging around, but anything past that makes me feel disgusting too.

Same here, and I have crazy thick masses of hair. But if I don't wash it every day? INSANE FRITO. I start trying to claw off my scalp.

Must be a pain in winter to dry... That's one thing I had to start doing in Canada, was making sure my hair was at least mostly dry by the time I left the house in the morning, since below freezing temperatures + wet hair = OMG OW BAD!

Usually. It's why when I was living in DC, I'd shower at night during the winter. I'd have some spectacular bed-head in the morning. (To illustrate - Jen came out of her room once and exclaimed "AUGH! You have Mel hair!") but I didn't die of COLD.

It's warm and dry enough here that I can just let it air dry.
