So, last night I came home to find [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] had sent me a Christmas card. With an [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] drabble in it. Things that make a Rossi happy indeed. :) Thanks, mate. *hugs*

Other things that make a Rossi happy:

1) Dinner with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] at a sushi place in Queen Street that had the best crab ever. Good food, better company. Did me a world of good.

2) Gift vouchers from last Christmas - I finally used my Mountain Equipment Co-Op gift card, winding up with:

a) A new multi-tool, to replace the one that got lost in the post;

b) Two new pairs of cycling socks, one with maple leaves on them;

c) A forearm and hand trainer. Technically for climbing, I'm also wanting to use it to strengthen my left hand especially for guitar, since I have no power in those fingers at all.

I contemplated using the voucher to get Christmas presents, but then I realised there's only about two people on my list who would actually appreciate something from there. Besides, my voucher. I'm told sometimes it's good to be selfish. ;)

Seriously, the crab exploded in my mouth in goodness. I'm going to be so spoiled from other crab now.

Hiii.

Heh. I had some crab like that once. In Baltimore... I even think Frito (and maybe Nute) was there. I had to sit down it was so good. (I wasn't sitting down).

Eons later and I still remember it. *drool*

Yep. The River Market. Gooood crabcakes. Pretty close to as good as mine, even.

Heh. That sounds like a challenge. I'm not sure anything is as good as that two-lump crabcake.

See, I always find crabcakes tend to dry the crab out... so I am very impressed. Next time you're over (and if I'm not pulling out my hair re: classes, hah) I'd love to take you to this place for comparing.

And I'm pretty sure Ros would like to take you too, but I always feel silly speaking for other people. *grin!*

Speaking of which, when do we get to see you again? And by we, this time I mean me. Oh, confusion.

Heh. Speaking in the collective!

Well, I *was* trying to head up next week but had to nix that visit because of classes ending (as you can well relate to) and money and now it looks like weather (a nor'easter's supposed to be hitting). Triple whammy! Probably February now. Boo.

I'd love to eat crab when I get there!

Yes, selfish is good. At least for recovering children.
