I would have turned my back if I could. Streaming it over the work internet, I unplugged my earphones and shut media player instead. I was really hopeful Nelson's speech would be good and kind and generous and unconditional. It was petty, mean-minded and really quite racist. He's lucky they only turned their backs on him.
