Waste of a day

Meh. Woke up this morning to one of my more violent tension headaches, caused by somehow putting my neck out yesterday. Sleeping on it wasn't so good, apparently. I called in, discovered Angel had peed on the bed again, this time while I was in it asleep, and went to sack out on the couch with the Advil.

Jen, your neck heatpad thing was a godsend. I can actually turn my head now. Headache's reducing to a dull roar, but I'm definitely not feeling sociable. Apologies to those I was going to do stuff with/talk to today - Shaun of the Dead was pretty much my speed today. Mmm, zombies. Followed by Hot Fuzz, since you can't have too much of that particular team up.

Yeeeeah. I believe it's time to start saving up to take Angel to The Vet. Combination of getting him tested for an UTI and then seeing if they'll keep him the night?

I know it seems cruel, but seriously. Mouse -- the grey cat that got angry at my mom and would feces in important places like the antique rug or the table and then finally right in front of her -- had nothing physically wrong with her at all and the only thing that "cured" her was an overnight with Auntie Joan (our vet who we've known since, um, my mom was a girl).
