Meme - character choices

deathpixieBecause I'm just about to head home and I'm a bit bored... another meme.
Name a character that you know I write or have written (or roleplay or have roleplayed), and I’ll tell you:
a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her
b. One of his/her best traits
c. One of his/her worst traits
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character
e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

Date: 2008-04-10 04:29 pm (UTC)At the time I picked up Maddie, Amanda was in the throes of serious melodrama, and I wanted someone sensible and logical, a bit older who had a sense of humour. Maddie, from the little that had been shown on-camera, had most of those traits and the rest was nebulous enough for me to create. It was also a time where Moira was the only doctor and you were fairly overwhelmed, Jen, so I decided a doctor character would be a good choice. I also can't write Hank consistently. ;)
b. One of his/her best traits
Maddie's passion. She throws herself into life without holding anything back.
c. One of his/her worst traits
Her temper. She's another firey redhead and she's dropped herself in it several times by losing her grip on herself.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character
Maddie was always simple to write. It's no surprise she's got a lot of my personality traits and that made it easier. The hardest part of writing her was the restrictions placed on her by gameplay and not being a mutant - I got pretty limited to what I could actually do with her after a while, and that was frustrating.
e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character

Nothing solid. I would adore being able to bring Maddie back as as NPC, but with Garrison around, there's no need for an FBI liason and there's the issue of Hank and Billy. Should someone app Hank, I'd be more than happy to bounce around ideas and the possibility of an appearance to make things easier. ;)
