Note: Based on a conversation overheard on the subway.
She croons to her precious one as she wheels the stroller carefully down the street. Her baby is quiet, a perfect angel, big blue eyes wide with the wonders of the world. Such a good girl. Passing three young people waiting for the bus, she nods to them as they look into the stroller, acknowledging what must be praise for the most perfect baby in the world.
"Wait, did that woman have a doll in that stroller?"
"Yeah, she did. She's a regular, wanders around a lot with the doll in the stroller. She thinks it's a baby."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. I think she lost a baby sometime and went crazy. It's kind of sad, but funny too, watching her with that thing."
She doesn't hear the conversation. All she can concentrate on is her baby, singing her to sleep.
