"So," the young man said, setting his glass down with perhaps a little more emphasis than a sober man would have done. "Are you God?"

"What do you think?" came the response as the old man sipped calmly at his glass of wine.

It was only then he realised that the old man's glass hadn't been refilled the entire evening, and was still half full.
