1) Was 2008 a good year for you?
Eh. Middling, mostly because of crap showering the people close to me.
2) What was your favorite moment of the year?
Finding out my brother and his wife are pregnant.
3) What was your least favorite moment of the year?
November 2007-April 2008 where the depression got so bad I was seriously considering suicide and spent large portions of my days on the brink of tears or actually sobbing in the bottom of the shower.
4) Where were you when 2008 began?
At our apartment, having the usual New Year's Bash.
5) Who were you with?
A number of good friends.
6) Where will you be when 2008 ends?
Not entirely sure yet. Possibly the Griffin.
7) Who will you be with when 2008 ends?
A number of good friends, some of whom weren't at the party last year.
8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2008?
I don't make resolutions.
9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2009?
See above.
10) Did you fall in love in 2008?
No.

14) Do you regret it?
To a degree. It's been a long time since I've felt anything resembling intense attraction/love and I'm starting to wonder if something's permanently broken.

No.
16) Did you make any new friends in 2008?
Yes.
17) Who are your favorite new friends?
Eh, I don't do favourites, or at least, I don't admit to it. There's a few people I'm closer to than others. :)
18) What was your favorite month of 2008?
May. My parents visited, I got my brain back and I went to Quebec.
19) Did you travel outside of the country in 2008?
No.
20) How many different countries did you travel to in 2008?
None.
21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2008?
No.
22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?
Yes. The Aussie crew are an awful long way away and hard to sync up to on the phone.
23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2008?
The Forbidden Kingdom. It's no great work of art, but it was a lot of fun at a time I needed fun.
24) What was your favorite song from 2008?
Erm. I'm a bit behind on stuff these days... Chapleau by Johnny Devil, if it was this year. ;)
25) What was your favourite record(s) from 2008?
Across the Universe - soundtrack.
26) How many concerts did you see in 2008?
A few. Not counting the usual Johnny shows, there was also the Urban Legend show for Mindy's birthday.
27) Did you have a favourite concert in 2008?
Urban Legend.
28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2008?
Definitely more than I should have and usually do.
29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2008?
No.
30) How many people did you sleep with in 2008?
One.
31) Did you do anything you regretted this year?
Yes. Many things, in fact.
33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2008?
I can't think of anything really bad, just the usual social fibs.
34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2008?
Between January-May, before the meds, I was treating everyone within range badly. Depression is a bitch like that. I'm still trying to put things right in some places, others I've realised things can't be fixed.
35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2008?
Occasionally, yes.
36) How much money did you spend in 2008?
More than I actually have. Which was a source of great stress. Necessary, but stressful.
37) What was your proudest moment of 2008?
Getting off my self-pitying arse and going on the meds.
38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2008?
Any number of times where I wound up weeping in the pub.
39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2008 and change something, what would it be?
I'd probably start on the meds sooner than I did, to avoid a lot of the work drama in early 2008.
40) What are your plans for 2009?
Go back to Australia for a visit in April, sign my permanent contract in March and get benefits and leave, pay off the credit card and put it in the freezer where I can't use it. Get a Canadian credit card instead and start saving for the Great Europe Jaunt of 2010.
