Being a grown up

Tonight has been spent doing several Grown Up things:
1) Canadian credit card application for all those annoying things you need a credit card for and that I don't want to use my poor broken Aussie one on;
2) Miscellaneous online banking tasks, including tranferring funds from my ING account back to my Aussie bank account and thus to the broken credit card to satisfy payment until my loan cheque goes through;
3) Medical insurance claims, specfically, drawing up a document to provide further details for counselling that I'll get Sandra to sign next Tuesday and digging out my optometrist receipts to claim on my last two batches of contact lenses;
4) Sorted out various drug receipts to make tax time less confusing. Also collected together all my monthly travel passes, since I can claim on those too, whee!
5) Purchased Christmas gifts online for my dad and my two lawyers. Thanks to the joy of the internet, I'll actually get Dad's to him early for a change!
I also finally signed up for full union membership yesterday, which is about time given I've been paying the dues any way!
Left to do, tonight/tomorrow:
Go through scribbled Christmas list from last night and work out plan of attack and budget, given I have to pay for counselling again next week and I lost three days of work/pay with the bronchitis. :P
Call/email my personal loan guy and double check the status of the cheque they sent about three weeks ago, since my broken credit card is still broken and money has been coming out of my wage to cover the loan and I'd like to actually get some benefit to it.
Of course, after all that grown-upedness, I'm going to go and play my silly Facebook zoo game for a while, since I'm too tired to brain any more. Provided work actually does what it's supposed to do and isn't busy tomorrow, I hope to get some XP in again and try and resume my enthusiasm. Perhaps even log! *gasp!!!*
