Procrastinating

deathpixieI should be heading off for Albury about now, but I'm sitting here in my PJs with my cup of tea, and putting off the inevitable.
Why?
Because it's fucking hot out there, is why.
It's only 9.30 ish in the morning and it's already high twenties out there: I went out when I got up to pull the blind down over the dining room window and nearly got fried. And this is after a night of having the fan on until 5am in an effort to sleep. Which I only sorta managed. Ah, Christmas, time of sleep-deprivation and heavy-duty sunscreen and cool showers before bed.
And I'm supposed to ride 10km into Albury so I can do some Christmas shopping. I need to go into Albury, as it's the only place that has blank CDS at 20 for $19.95.
*whimpers* I wonder if Mum is using the car today?
