Achievement. Interrupted.

deathpixieSo, I got to work early this morning because I had a teleconference at 9:00 a.m. to set up. Got up before 8 and everything (yeah, I know most people do, but I usually start work at 9:30 and don't have to get up until 8:30 most mornings). Of course, the defendant doesn't call in.
After that I trotted off excitedly to my first French class. Found the room after some looking, introduced myself to my fellow classmates as we waited for the teacher. We waited.
And waited.
And waited some more.
Twice in one morning I get stood up! Bah.
Fortunately, I saw this post in [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s journal, which made me giggle, so now I feel less cranky. I've emailed the person in charge of the French class, so hopefully at some point we'll have an explanation and a reschedule. I hope they don't cancel - I'm looking forward to using my brain again!
