deathpixieSo, last week went as follows:
Monday - went to work despite being flu-ey. Got worse during long and annoying day.
Tuesday - Wednesday - home sick
Thursday - back to work, spent day slogging through the backlog of the previous two days.
Friday - came in early to attempt to photocopy and scan [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s homework to her in Winnipeg. Was successful. Had a happy face all day as self remembered why self likes to do things for others sometimes. ;) Also managed to shake off residual flatness of mood and got a vertible crap-load of work done, including various outstanding things. Came home, did the dance of victory and then went out to the Firkin for dinner due to a temporary rejection of the Griffin due to Maria crazies.
Saturday - Hamilton for the roomie's father's birthday dinner. Fooooood gooooood.
Sunday - Omelette for brunch made by roomie, then set about the Cleaning. Couch vacuumed (finally!) and bulk of cat hair removed, revealing couch is in fact dark green. Dishes done. Laundry partially done, as roomie was doing his and let me toss in my underwear. ;) Called parents and established that they and I are all alive. ;) Then took tea and leftover coffee cake upstairs to provide the hardworking [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] with a break and background noise. More dishes. Borrowed computer to do Zooworld updates, as lappie just isn't liking it lately. :P Came back downstairs, watched [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s Twitter feed of the Oscars.
To do, this week:
Tax return
Cancel gym membership and sign up with YMCA
New contact lenses
French homework (also tonight!!!)
Catch up short stories for 52 Pick Up (x4)
Apply for Canadian credit card again, this time in person with a copy of loan statement.
Logs (x4)
Log list for Revenant
Make doctor's appointment for prescription refill
And finally, shopping/expenses list, over the next month or so...
Pay 1 (this week) - contact lens solution, contact lenses ($75) and therapy ($320)
Pay 2 (March 18) - credit card ($300), haircut and dyejob (to cover up the greys!), see about new glasses cost, new handbag (big enough for book and lunchbox!)
Longer term:
Bathing suit
T-Shirts that don't come from Dexcon. ;)
LJ accounts - [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
iPhone - $100 (plus 3-year plan) to replace broken cell phone and aging iPod Nano
Credit card - pay off Quebec trip completely when tax return money comes through
Digital camera - with better zoom etc.
Tickets to California for Frito and Twiller's wedding.
Trip with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] to New Orleans, not during Mardi Gras.
Trip to Halifax over the summer?
