Also, the cats have proven their hunting might once again last night, with a full-size mouse this time. Ah, spring. And even better, they left it on my floor, not in my bed. Yay!
At least it wasn't 3/4 of a skink that was both twitching and screaming little lizard screams at three in the morning whenever the cat batted at it? ;)
(Although, seriously, Jack's best effort was two rats in half an hour after I got rid of the first one or the time he caught a blackbird despite his only access to the outdoors being in a cat enclosure. And the time he trapped a marsupial rat on a ledge above a door for three hours and it both ran up the inside of my housemates pants and then bit him.)
Molly decided bringing a skink into our bed to chase at three in the morning was a brilliant idea. She was thrown off the bed and the skink escaped unharmed.
The skink was much smarter than the equally unharmed mouse she brought onto our bed at one am a few months ago...
