Interesting start to the day...

deathpixieToday I am 40 years old. I am possibly still a bit drunk (if my typing is anything to go by!) following the shots that were bestowed upon me last night, I'm at work and Jane is here. I've also started the day with a can of Coke.
Yep, today will be interesting indeed.
The party Saturday was fantastic, even with the change of plans due to the weather gods emphatically making a point that outside in May wasn't going to happen (gale force winds, icy rain, temperatures of 5 degrees C and a forecast of possible snow overnight!). Thank you so much to everyone who came, and to Mindy and Johnny who cleaned their house for us to use and to Dex and Mindy who made oodles of delicious food. :) Chicken mole for the win.
And now I'm going to go see Jane. And hope I don't reek of tequila. ;)
Post-Jane Edit: So, Jane cracked a rib over the weekend. *facepalms* But she also gave me a $40 gift card for Second Cup (that's a lot of coffee!) and not a lot in the way of work (whoot!). And Sonia gave me some very pretty flowers. I like today so far.
