Day 08 – A moment

It's brisk as I exit Bay Street subway station. My iPhone tells me it's around minus 2 C, but it's refreshing rather than painful. There's a clear blue sky and bright sun, more light than warmth, but I tip my face up to it any way, soaking in the brightness. Cold air on my face, sun flashing between buildings and my favourite pair of shoes - my bright red Chucks - on my feet.

It's mornings like this that remind me I love this city.
