Yasmin, Trusty, change of plans!
Mar. 9th, 2002 04:08 pmI'm really, really sorry to throw a spanner in the works like this, but it turns out that my friend Ben, the one who's over here from Canada, has a free day on Monday "pencilled in" for me. Which means I won't get to see that much of him unless it's then. How's Sunday for you guys, same time, same place? I really hate doing this to you, but basically there's only so much Rossi to go 'round. ;)
'Mouse, how about dinner Sunday night? Email me at Rossijh@yahoo.com with your folks'number - I still have your mobile number but those things eat my phone cards. :P

As for those who are probably wondering why it is I'm spending my first day in Melbourne largely on my own (except for things tonight, that is) - I had to make myself presentable to interact with my friends again. After the past few months and the last week in particular, I've been grumpy, irritable and generally not a nice person to be around. And I've had very little time to myself to recover my equilibrium, which is weird, I know, when I complain about being alone. But today I choose to be on my own, whereas in Wodonga I don't have the choice.
*grins* It's all about choosing.
Any way, I've had a good day. Spent a little bit of money - no more shopping for me, I've done my budget - and gone to see From Hell, which had Robbie Coltrane and Johnny Depp ad was deliciously creepy. Real Hellblazer type stuff. Expect my writing to take a turn for the bloodier. And I'm more than ready to be social - in fact, I'm going to catch up on a couple of Net things (like the LJs) and then go get changed and head up to Carlton to see Michael. *looks innocent* What? He said to drop by! ;)
And and and! I finally got issues 9 and 10 of Midnight Nation! Haven't read them yet - I started in the theatre until the lights went down - but I have them! Whoo!
