Apparently if I want people to email me I should tell them not to. Since saying "no, I won't be on AIM but feel free to email me if you want anything" is a guaranteed way to get no email for several days, including replies to emails I've sent. :P Bah. Still not turning on AIM - I wanted some downtime and that's what I'm getting, damnit!

Apparently I am a chef par excellance, according to Sarah. Yes, she liked my risotto. *hees*

People need to learn to drive more safely in the wet - two major collisions in three days. Major meaning more than one death. Gah.

Apparently Blundstones boots can last eighteen months in seawater, while the legs attached do not. And yes, my sense of humour is not improving working here - it's getting very black.

Still haven't told the boss about Canada - he's at Frankston Hospital today and I'm on four days off starting tomorrow. I'll have to email him and ask for an appointment at this rate.

And yes, four days off starting tomorrow. Considering the slightly scratchy throat and sniffle, I think a quiet day is in order tomorrow.
