Been at work nearly four hours already. Wow, that actually has gone quite quickly. But getting up at 5am still sucks monkey balls. I think the nights are much better to deal with. Still, only two at a time.
Oh, and I realised. I'm working Friday and Saturday (penalty rates for Saturday) and then nights Sunday and Monday. With Monday being a public holiday, so penalty rates for the entire first night shift. That's 12 hours of Sunday rates, plus another 7 on the Monday. Looks like I'll have the visa paid off next pay with that lot coming through...
*snickers* My downstairs neighbour knocked on the door yesterday to tell me they were having a party Sunday night so as to not disturb me. Which was nice of him. He was a little startled when I said it'd be fine as long as they were done by 6am since that's when I get home and promptly pass out. ;)

4. First memory... The hotel lobby at Dexcon. Cue the obligatory 'my God, he's HUGE' remarks. That and 'Thank God we've got people where they're supposed to be' - it was that sort of day for me. ;)
5. Animal... A bear. Probably a grizzly. *grins* Can be very growly and grumpy, but also rather sweet.
6. Wondered... If comfort/expense/etc wasn't a factor, where would you most like to travel in the world.
