One of those memes that people like since it's hearing stuff about themselves. *grins* Gakked from at least a third of my friendslist.

The rules
1. Reply and I’ll write something about you.
2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.
4. I will tell you my first memory of you.
5. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
6. I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
7. Post this in your own journal. (If you so wish.)

Been at work nearly four hours already. Wow, that actually has gone quite quickly. But getting up at 5am still sucks monkey balls. I think the nights are much better to deal with. Still, only two at a time.

Oh, and I realised. I'm working Friday and Saturday (penalty rates for Saturday) and then nights Sunday and Monday. With Monday being a public holiday, so penalty rates for the entire first night shift. That's 12 hours of Sunday rates, plus another 7 on the Monday. Looks like I'll have the visa paid off next pay with that lot coming through...

*snickers* My downstairs neighbour knocked on the door yesterday to tell me they were having a party Sunday night so as to not disturb me. Which was nice of him. He was a little startled when I said it'd be fine as long as they were done by 6am since that's when I get home and promptly pass out. ;)

I stumbled onto Subreality through fanfic. They mentioned this board that they posted to (I've got no idea who it was now) and I was all "Hmm, might as well check it out." And then promptly got hooked. XD

All rightie then.

Don't know the song, but this does not surprise me in the slightest.

Where would I go if cash and comfort wasn't an issue? Shit, I'd go _everywhere_. World tour time!

But assuming that I had to limit it?

*ponders*

I only speak English, so that lops a WHOLE LOT OF THE WORLD out right there. I don't want to be Idiot Tourist Boy.

The UK or Oz sound good to me. :)

5. Actually, I think you were the first to say cat, specifically. Thought someone else did later on.

6. I've always wanted to do a Martial Art, but had to find something that was no contact because of my arm being in such bad shape - which meant Aikido, the first choice, was right out. And then RW pointing out a place to me, us walking through the door and me falling in love with it the second afterwards.

In the old fashioned sense, I think you'd make the better companion, than I because you would be good to go out and make arrangements happen and be all organised, while I be all lady-like and feeble.

On the other hand, now-days, I would be able to make you enjoy some of the travel more, and am pretty good at being company. ;)

6. Yes. I'm trying to find the right time, actually. Not sure when we want to set it, since nothing really overt's come up that makes it feel like it fits. Maybe after end of Buy Now Pay Later?

6. Wondered... If you could ever post a serious reply to an RR. ;)

The RRs... no. (The closest I came was my addition to the current reboot the newbies started.) But Subreality stories... yes. To this day I particular fond of the 'Me, Myself and I' set.

Part of it is that I find my truly dark storytelling style doesn't mesh well when I try to work with others. I generally have a VERY well defined idea of where a serious story is going to end up... and co-writers keep trying to keep all the characters happy or at least alive. Occasionally, if the plead their case well enough, I acquiese. Though even my comedies (like my still being revised novella Planet Nowhere) have a satisfying but not really happy endings. An amalgamation of sorts between the completely absurd and the bittersweet.

2. I love that song. Glad you sent it to me. It's the song I listen to when I need a pick me up.

5 & 6. *snickers* Nah, it's an apt description, and made me laugh like hell at the peeing bit. ;) And yes, can definitely be on the lazy side. I seriously need to start poking myself more with the writing thing.

6. Hmmmmmm.

It's difficult because I have a different favrotie depending on what mood I'm in. Right now I adore Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but that could change very soon.

I did get the parcel! *dances*

Sascha says I'm a hawk. I'm not entirely sure why.

I've seen the first three episodes, and I have the rest of the DVDs with every intention of watching them, um... sometime. *grins*
